Woodman, born Oswald Forrest, is the caretaker of Clouds, the doll house in Japantown. He judges the dolls' work and solves problems, including getting rid of dolls who cause trouble. He is a smooth operator with ties to the Tyger Claws, sure of himself, rude and smug. Some say he was born without empathy, but the truth is that he had some once and threw it away when he found it useless.
Biography
The Caretaker
Woodman manages the talent at Clouds and is comfortable under the protection of the Tyger Claws. That protection has made him arrogant. He handles the club's problems quietly and without mercy.
Evelyn
When Evelyn Parker is attacked through the net at Clouds and left helpless, Woodman takes charge of her. He tries to have her implants repaired, and when that fails, he abuses her while she cannot move. Once he loses interest, he hands her to the ripperdoc Fingers as payment for one last attempt to fix her.
V meets Woodman while searching Clouds for Evelyn. V can bribe, persuade or threaten him into revealing where she went. If he survives, he has V barred from Clouds at once.

Personality
Woodman is cold, cynical and without remorse. He treats the dolls as property and talks about them with contempt. Even when confronted with what he did to Evelyn, he insists he only took what he was owed.
Relationships
Evelyn Parker is the doll he abused and sold. Fingers is the ripperdoc he sold her to. The Tyger Claws protect him. Maiko Maeda runs Clouds beside him. Judy Álvarez wants him to pay.
Jobs
Woodman is met in Automatic Love. Judy's side job Ex-Factor gives the chance to settle the score with him.

Endings
In Ex-Factor, Judy and V can confront Woodman about Evelyn. He remains rude and unrepentant. V can kill him in revenge or let him live.
Notes
If Woodman survives Automatic Love, V is barred from Clouds.
