Flame of the Redmanes is a skill of the soldiers who fought alongside General Radahn: the wielder raises a hand and releases a powerful burst of flame in a wide frontward arc. The fan of fire spreads as it travels and passes through enemies, hitting several targets in a line. Its fire damage scales with Strength and the weapon's upgrade level. It suits Strength builds that want a mid-range fire attack on any melee weapon, including colossal weapons and whips.

Skill
Use it against groups that bunch up in front of the wielder, since the arc widens with distance. The flames cover a fair distance for a close-range skill, which makes it useful against enemies just out of sword reach. It cannot be parried, but the burst comes out slowly enough to be dodged by alert enemies.
