The Ash of War: Ground Slam is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Heavy affinity and the Ground Slam skill. It is found early on, in Limgrave.

Ground Slam leaps high into the air and crashes down on the ground ahead, sending a powerful shockwave out in all directions. Both the landing and the shockwave scale with Strength and the weapon's upgrade level, and the landing flattens human-sized enemies. The wielder is very hard to stagger while airborne. It suits Strength builds that want a heavy area attack on any melee weapon, even a small one.

Skill

Use it to crash into groups or punish a boss during a long recovery, since the leap takes a moment to land. It gives no invulnerability frames, so attacks that connect still deal damage even though they do not interrupt. It cannot be parried, which makes it safe to use against parry-heavy enemies.

"Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends a powerful shockwave in all directions."
