Elden Ring - Perfume Bottles

At 1.0 weight and 3 Strength, a perfume bottle is the cheapest way in the game to bolt a second damage type onto a build that is already committed elsewhere.

Combat

Pros

• Every perfume bottle weighs exactly 1.0 and requires exactly 3 Strength, and no other weapon class costs this little to carry.
• Together the bottles cover fire, lightning, magic and physical damage plus poison, 60 frostbite and 60 madness, so whatever a boss resists, one bottle answers it.
• Firespark and Lightning Perfume Bottles both reach 269 elemental attack rating at max Standard, and Firespark reaches 560 at 80 Dexterity.
• Perfume Bottles can perform feint attacks, and Wall of Sparks and Rolling Sparks are Ashes of War exclusive to the class.

Cons

• Bottles cannot be greased, buffed with spells or given new affinities, so the damage type a bottle comes with is the one it keeps, with no Cold or Blood conversion and no Bloodflame buff.
• The Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle cannot take an Ash of War at all and stays locked to Deadly Poison Spray, while the others can only swap skills within Standard affinity.
• Every bottle except Deadly Poison deals zero physical damage, so there is no fallback when the target resists the bottle's one element.
• Stamina and poise damage is a flat 84 at max Standard on every bottle and guard boost is 15 across the board, so they neither stagger nor block.

Builds

Dexterity is the universal stat, with requirements from 10 to 16, and the right bottle is the one that matches the casting stat already on the character.

• Firespark scales with Dexterity alone (C, rising to B at +7), so nothing is wasted on a pure Dexterity build.
• Chilling wants Dexterity and Intelligence (C and C at max), Lightning wants Dexterity and Faith (C and C at max), and Deadly Poison wants Dexterity and Arcane (C and C at max), with Arcane raising both its damage and its poison buildup.
• Frenzyflame is the four-stat spread and worth skipping unless madness is the specific goal.

• Perfume bottles are naturally paired, so pressing two-hand equips a duplicate bottle in the off-hand.
• Firespark pairs with the Spark Aromatic consumable, which shares its Dexterity scaling and fire damage and extends the moveset.
