The Ash of War: Loretta's Slash is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Magic affinity and the Loretta's Slash skill. It shows up mid-run, in Liurnia of the Lakes.
Loretta's Slash is the skill of Loretta the Royal Knight: the wielder leaps forward with the blade glowing with glintstone, slashes on the way up, then descends into an accelerating sweeping slash. Both slashes combine the weapon's physical damage with extra magic damage that scales with Intelligence. The leap covers ground quickly and cannot be parried. It suits Intelligence builds and spellblades using halberds, reapers, spears and twinblades.
Stats
It grants the Magic affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Cold. The skill costs 14 FP. It fits Twinblade, Spear, Great Spear, Halberd and Reaper.

Skill
Use the leap to close distance and land the sweeping descent on enemies that are recovering. The wielder can still be hit out of the air, so it is risky against fast attackers. Both slashes apply the weapon's own status build-up, which pairs well with a Cold affinity.
