The Cross-Naginata is a weapon of the Land of Reeds, a three-pronged blade on a long pole whose central blade resembles a katana. It lies on a corpse at the far end of the cavern guarded by a Giant Land Octopus in the Gael Tunnel in Caelid. Its moveset mixes thrusts and slashes, unlike other spears, and it pairs good reach with built-in blood loss. It reaches strong Dexterity scaling with a Keen affinity, making it a bleed weapon that needs no Arcane, and it suits a Dexterity or Dexterity and Faith build.

Impaling Thrust costs 9 FP. The wielder gathers power, then lunges forward into a strong piercing thrust that punches through an enemy's guard. Most of the damage gets past a raised shield, which makes it a reliable answer to turtling enemies and players. The thrust can be parried. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.
