The Glintstone Cometshard is a Glintstone sorcery in Elden Ring. It is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, around the middle of a run.
Glintstone Cometshard is a sorcery of the Karolos Conspectus, the most venerable of the conspectuses at the Academy of Raya Lucaria. It fires a large magic comet with a trailing tail that pierces through enemies, and the tail itself deals damage, so bystanders near the target often get hit too. It can be chain-cast while walking and charged for extra damage, sitting between Great Glintstone Shard and Comet in cost and power. It is a slightly weaker Comet with a slightly lower Intelligence requirement, but it costs noticeably less FP per shot and is more efficient in damage per FP. Azur's Glintstone Crown raises its damage at the cost of pricier sorceries, and it suits intelligence builds looking for a strong, economical main nuke.
Effect
Fires a magic comet with a trailing tail that pierces enemies; it can be cast repeatedly and while moving, and charging increases damage. Each cast costs 17 FP and 28 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Glintstone Cometshard Guide
Glintstone Cometshard is sold for 12,000 runes by Sorceress Sellen, Miriel, Pastor of Vows or Preceptor Seluvis once one of them is given the Conspectus Scroll. If all three teachers die before any of them receives the scroll, it cannot be bought in that playthrough.
- Enter the Academy of Raya Lucaria and rest at the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace.
- Follow the hallway beyond the Site of Grace and open the chest in the room on the left to get the Conspectus Scroll.
- Give the Conspectus Scroll to Sorceress Sellen, Miriel, Pastor of Vows or Preceptor Seluvis.
- Buy Glintstone Cometshard from that teacher for 12,000 runes.
- If that teacher dies later, give their bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to buy it there for the same price.
