The Night Comet is a Night sorcery in Elden Ring. It is found in Caelid, around the middle of a run.
Night Comet is one of the night sorceries of Sellia, whose sorcerers were assassins said to hunt their own kind. It fires a semi-invisible magic comet that pierces targets, and like other night sorceries it goes unseen, so enemies never try to dodge it and neither Carian Retaliation nor Thops's Barrier can stop it. That makes it a superior choice against bosses and enemies that constantly dodge projectiles, Malenia among them. On its own it is less efficient than Glintstone Cometshard, but the Staff of Loss boosts it heavily, and with one in each hand it becomes arguably the strongest of the comet sorceries. It suits stealth and night sorcery builds that want reliable hits on evasive foes.
