Active Mycelium is mushroom growth that has soaked up the magic of the Shroud, and alchemy in Enshrouded leans on it for potions, spells and armor. It is mined from glowing blue patches found all over Embervale, mostly inside the Shroud. The Alchemist uses it for the Ancient Mana Potion and the Eternal Shroud Beam spell. It also goes into the Shroud Arrow III, chest armor such as the Scout Chest and the Small Magic Chest.
How to Get Active Mycelium Guide
Active Mycelium grows as glowing blue patches on the ground. The patches appear all over Embervale, but most of them sit inside the Shroud. A pickaxe mines them. Fell guard many Shroud areas, so clearing the nearby enemies first keeps the gathering calm. The Shroud timer runs the whole time, so it pays to grab the patches on the way to other goals. Chest armor and some potions ask for large stacks, so a full Shroud trip is worth the effort.
