The Rising Fighter Set is the first warrior armor set of the Springlands. It suits any new melee character and gives a balanced start of critical chance, health and melee damage. The Blacksmith crafts it, and pieces also turn up in chests.

Pieces

The helmet raises melee critical chance, and the gloves add a little melee damage. The chest and trousers add health, and the boots add health regeneration. The pieces cover the basics for any melee weapon.

How to Get Rising Fighter Set Guide

The Blacksmith makes every piece. Armor recipes unlock on their own each time the Flame is upgraded, one crafting tier at a time. The recipes need Metal Sheets, Animal Fur, String and Resin, with Aerated Banshee Gel, Mycelium and Shroud Liquid for some pieces.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Blacksmith upgrades warrior armor for Runes. Crafted pieces of this starter tier are uncommon quality, while chests can hold common to legendary ones. The quality sets how many upgrade perks a piece can unlock. Legendary pieces unlock the most and need Legendary Runes for the later steps. The perks here add resistance to blunt, piercing, cutting and Shroud damage, more health, and extra levels in skills such as Barbarian's Path, Brute and Blood Rage. Upgraded gear peaks at level 55, far above the Springlands tier. The line continues with the Adventurer Set in the Revelwood. Outgrown pieces salvage back into runes.

Lore

The Rising Fighter descriptions speak to beginners who are just learning to fight. The helmet keeps the skull safe when diving into battle. The chest is light and padded, ready to take a few hits, and is called the perfect chest armour for a beginner. The gloves are robust but agile, and they mainly prevent blisters from swinging a sword. The padded trousers soften falls during fighting practice. The boots remind the wearer that footwork is the most important skill of swordsmanship.
