Brittle Shroud Petals are delicate, faintly toxic petals touched by the Shroud, fragile alone but surprisingly tough once woven into armor. In Enshrouded they go into boots for every craftsperson's line, from the Adventurer Boots to the Mage Boots and the Ranger Boots. They drop from Fell Vicious Vines, which first appear in the Shroud of the Revelwood. The Shock Wisp I spell and the Ranger Hood use them as well.

Brittle Shroud Petals drop from Fell Vicious Vines. The first ones appear in the Shroud of Revelwood, where they are common. More of them grow in Cinder's Cradle later on. Like every Fell enemy, the vines take extra damage from fire, so a fire spell or fire arrows clear them fast. Many early boots need only one or two petals, so a short Shroud trip covers several recipes.
