An Asksvin Egg only appears once a pair of tamed Asksvin are fed and content, which makes it the one thing in the Ashlands you farm instead of fight for.
How to Get It
To tame Asksvin, drop Fiddleheads, Vineberry Clusters or Smoke Puffs near them and keep your distance until they settle. Wild ones never drop eggs. Keep two tame, well-fed Asksvin in the same pen and they will breed and lay. To hatch an egg, set it down on its own under a roof next to a fire and leave it for roughly thirty minutes, because eggs in a stack will not hatch. The hatchling takes about another fifty minutes to grow up, and a higher quality egg hatches a starred one.
