The Barber Station is a stool and mirror listed under Crafting Stations, but it makes nothing except a new look. It lets a viking change hair and beard whenever they like, and it is the only way to change a character's look once the world has started.

How to Build It

It costs ten Finewood, five Bronze Nails, five Troll Hide and one Barber Kit, built within range of a Workbench. Everything except the kit is early game material you will already have. The kit cannot be crafted and is sold by the second trader, Hildir; you only have to find her and buy one, since her quests do not need to be finished first. The station adds eight new hairstyles and four new beards to the ones you start with.
