A knapped head and a handful of feathers make Flinthead Arrow the arrow to have in your quiver before you go into the Black Forest after The Elder. It deals 27 pierce damage. At 27 total damage it ranks 21st among ammunition, so it is a step on the ladder rather than the top of it.

How to Craft

---

Craft it at a level 2 Workbench with:

• 8x Wood: Chopped from any tree.
• 2x Flint: Picked up along river banks and shorelines.
• 2x Feathers: Dropped by Crows and Gulls, and found in chests in the Meadows.

Feathers Black Forest	-	spawn Feathers

When to Use It

---

This is gear for the opening hours. Everything it takes comes out of the Meadows, so it suits a character who has just stood up.

Properties

---

It deals 27 pierce damage, the next step up from the Wood Arrow. After it comes the Bronzehead Arrow.

Flint is shore loot, so this is a free upgrade in the Meadows rather than something locked behind a Smelter.

Notes

---

• Ammunition damage is added to the weapon's base damage before any other calculation. That is why the arrow, not the bow, decides a shot's damage type.
• Bows fire arrows and crossbows fire bolts, and the 2 are not interchangeable.
• If you carry more than one kind, right-click the stack to choose which one is used.
