The Gull is scenery with loot attached, circling the shallows and bobbing out over open water. It has a single point of health and no attack of any kind, and it turns up wherever the Meadows runs down to the sea. Most players kill their first one by accident, with an arrow meant for something else.
Behaviour
Flying is very nearly all it does: long lazy circuits over the water, a perch on a rock or a strip of beach, then up again the moment something large walks towards it. It will not attack or call for help, and it has no pack behaviour worth the name, although several often drift along the same stretch of coast together. Flying away is its only defence, and it works better than it sounds: the bird is small, it is moving, and it hangs at exactly the height that makes a hurried arrow sail underneath it. A Gull will never start a fight with you, and none will follow you inland.
Where to Find It
Gulls belong to the coastline rather than to any single biome. You see them out over the Ocean and along the shores of the Meadows, the Black Forest and the Plains, almost always within sight of open water and often around the rocks and sandbars just offshore. They are common wherever that holds and absent inland, so whether there is water nearby matters far more than the hour of day. No boss kill or event gates them, they have no stars, and they are as easy to find on your first morning ashore as on your last voyage out.
Strengths and Weaknesses
One point of health means any weapon, any arrow and any thrown object kills it outright, and no damage type does more or less to it. The only real problem is reach, since Gulls are usually over water or over a drop. That makes a bow the practical tool, and every miss is an arrow you watch sink. Line one up while it is perched rather than in flight, shoot from the shore so the body falls on dry ground, and do not waste time chasing one that has already taken off. Gear tier does not matter, because the bird cannot hurt you at any point in the game.
Drops
Feathers are the only reason to take the shot. At three a bird, a walk along the beach pays for the arrows you fletch with them.

Notes
- Loose tree logs rolling into them pass right through without damaging them at all.
