Grausten window 2x2 is the square wall panel with an opening cut through it, the daylight piece of the Windows and Dividers section, for four blocks of Grausten. It fills the same two metre square as a solid wall, breaks up a hall of otherwise blank masonry, and costs two blocks less than the panel it replaces.
How to Build It
You need four Grausten and a Stonecutter in range to place or repair it. In every other respect it behaves as a wall, taking its support from the stonework and the ground below, so plan windows into the course rather than knocking one into a finished wall. The opening works both ways: out in the Ashlands a charred marksman can put an arrow through it, so keep windows high or on the side away from the fighting.
