Not every wall inside a longhouse should be solid. The Carved Darkwood Divider is a thin pierced panel for those spots, filed under Windows and Dividers. It screens a bed or a workshop off from the hall while still letting the firelight through.
How to Build It
It costs two Finewood and one Tar, so it takes finewood rather than the plain wood the beams use, and you build it beside a Workbench. At barely a finger's thickness it is a screen, not a structural wall. Frame the opening with posts and beams first, then drop the divider into a gap that already holds itself up.
