The Standing Iron Torch is the permanent version of the torch you carry in your hand: a post and a basket of flame from the Lighting tab. Two bars of Iron and two lumps of Resin buy a light that stands out in the open through any weather, which is exactly what a path or a walled yard needs.

How to Build It

The recipe takes two Iron and two Resin, and it has to go down within reach of a Forge, not a Workbench. You refuel it by hand with Resin. It holds a good deal more than the wooden version, so it needs far less attention, and because rain does not damage it you can line an outdoor road without ever coming back to relight the run.
