History
Corvo Bianco first appears in the main quest The Beast of Toussaint. The ducal guard has moved the body of the Beast's latest victim into the estate's cool cellar. Geralt comes to examine the body and finds that a bruxa has got there first. He must kill her.
When Geralt first takes over, the estate is run-down. His majordomo, Barnabas-Basil Foulty, runs the household and knows how to rebuild it. In the secondary quest No Place Like Home, Geralt pays for the repairs one at a time. Each job takes one or more days to finish.
The finished rooms give bonuses after Geralt rests at home. A new bed raises Vitality. The stable gives Roach more Stamina. The library adds experience from combat. The alchemy lab gives potions and bombs an extra charge.
