The Bruxa of Corvo Bianco is a Vampire, a bruxa unlike any other. It is met in the cellars of the Corvo Bianco vineyard in Toussaint. The fight comes early in the Blood and Wine expansion, during the main quest The Beast of Toussaint.
Lore
This bruxa stood out from others of its kind. It was smarter, and it could speak human language with little trouble. It was also tied to the Beast, the mysterious murderer who was prowling Beauclair at the time. The bruxa was not the Beast itself. Still, it was clearly in league with it.
The bruxa came to Corvo Bianco at a grim moment. The Ducal Guard had moved the body of the Beast's latest victim to the cool cellars of the estate. Shortly after, the bruxa struck. It killed the guardsmen there just moments before a witcher arrived. The witcher fought and killed it in self-defense. Even then, the link between the bruxa and the Beast stayed a mystery.
Behaviour
Like other bruxae, this one has strength and speed far beyond any human. It can turn invisible and attack with a wave of sound. As is typical for all vampires, it seeks to drink its victims' blood.
Weaknesses
Coat the silver sword with Vampire Oil. Drink Black Blood before the fight, because the bruxa wants to drink blood, and the potion turns that blood against it. Throw a Moon Dust bomb to make its invisible movements easier to follow. Lay Yrden to trap the bruxa and hold it in place for several blows.
The bruxa relies on two main attacks. Its claws strike fast, often while it is invisible. Its screech sends a wave of sound at its foe. Roll to the side to escape the wave, then strike back.

- Follow Milton to the riverbank where the body was found and search it with Witcher Senses.
- Follow Milton to the inn to ask where the body was taken.
- Ride to Corvo Bianco and examine the dead guardsmen with Witcher Senses.
- Read the bruxa entry in the bestiary to prepare for the fight.
- Go down into the Corvo Bianco cellar and follow the footprints.
- Defeat the Bruxa of Corvo Bianco.
- Examine the body of the Beast's victim in the cellar.

The bruxa appears in The Beast of Toussaint, a main quest of Blood and Wine. After a fight with a giant on the road, the knight Milton leads the way to a riverbank. The Beast's latest victim was found there, but the body is gone. Clues on the riverbank and a talk at a nearby inn show that the body went to Corvo Bianco.
At Corvo Bianco the guardsmen lie dead. Witcher Senses show what kind of monster killed them, and the bestiary entry on bruxae helps prepare. Footprints lead down into the cellar. The bruxa waits there, and the fight begins. Once it is dead, the victim's body can be examined. The quest then moves on to Palmerin and the duchess, Anna Henrietta.
