A Like Supreme is the side job in which Samurai play together one last time. It follows Second Conflict, after V rescues Nancy Hartley from the Totentanz and decides which missing band member will join the reunion. A day later, Nancy calls V to the Red Dirt bar in Arroyo, Santo Domingo, where Johnny, in V's body, takes the stage with Kerry Eurodyne.
Story
Johnny's Guitar
V arrives at the Red Dirt in the evening. Nancy asks V to open a guitar case. To Johnny's and V's surprise, it holds Johnny's old guitar, which had sat in a private collection. Nancy says Kerry will be there soon, bringing Drausin from Cutthroat to stand in for the missing band member.
Denny or Henry
The band member chosen in Second Conflict sits at the table with Nancy. If it is Denny, she tells V that she once helped Henry into a new band, and it helped him quit drugs. When things went well for him, he cut her out of his life again. A month later, she found him living on the streets, thrown out by his new friends for acting up again. She left him there and made sure he would not find out where she lived. Playing with Samurai again feels strange to her, mostly because Johnny is gone, and she misses him.
If it is Henry, he says that when he hit rock bottom, Denny left him and refused to talk to him. He also mentions that Kerry helped him get ready for the gig.
The Gig
After the talk, V slips into the bathroom, takes the Pseudoendotrizine and lets Johnny take over. Back in the main room, Kerry and Drausin have arrived. Once everyone is ready, the band takes the stage and plays A Like Supreme.
After the Show
Afterwards, Johnny and Kerry sit at the bar and talk. Johnny gives Kerry the guitar and hands V back control of V's body. In return, Kerry gives V his Iconic revolver and leaves the bar.
