The Militech Hellhound is a six-wheeled armoured SUV with machine guns and a missile pod, and it is the most expensive vehicle V can buy. It drives like a small tank on civilian roads. Its armour keeps V safe through heavy gunfire and even explosions. Players who want the toughest armed vehicle for car combat in Phantom Liberty save up for it, or stack Autofixer discounts to get it cheap. The Hellhound is a late Phantom Liberty purchase that the Autofixer unlocks after a run of El Capitan's vehicle contracts.
Performance
The Hellhound is by far the heaviest vehicle V can own, and it drives all six wheels with a strong engine. Its armour shrugs off small-arms fire and explosions that would wreck a normal car.
The Hellhound carries two weapon systems. Two machine guns in the nose fire straight ahead, so V aims them by turning the vehicle. A missile pod on the roof launches a volley at a target area, and it holds only a few missiles before it reloads. Both systems reload on their own once they run dry.
The dashboard also carries a working radar.
The price is the main hurdle. Vehicle contracts are the way around it. Each contract asks V to steal a marked car somewhere in Night City and deliver it to a garage, sometimes with pursuers, a time limit or a demand for a clean delivery. Each finished contract pays out loot and one Autofixer Discount shard. The shards stack into a larger discount on the next purchase, and a big enough stack takes the full price off.
How to Get Militech Hellhound Guide
- Own Phantom Liberty and finish Push It to the Limit so that El Capitan's vehicle contracts open.
- Complete vehicle contracts until the Hellhound unlocks on the Autofixer.
- Buy it for €$ 150,000 from an Autofixer terminal or an apartment computer.
- Collect Autofixer Discount shards from vehicle contracts and races to lower the price, even to zero.
Militech Hellhound Map Location
The map shows the Autofixer terminal in Northside, Watson, the one closest to V's apartment and one of the terminals where V can buy it.

Lore
Militech makes weapons first and cars second, but its armoured vehicles have no equal. The Database says the Hellhound is packed with the corporation's latest technology. Getting in and out feels like boarding an AV, thanks to the side-sliding doors. The armoured body sits on a chassis that spreads the blast of a mine, and the tyres are airless.
The windows are bulletproof armour plates with screens on the inside, using CrystalDome technology. Enemies cannot tell how many people sit inside, while the driver sees out clearly. The car's own description sells it as a chariot of the apocalypse with six-wheel drive, armour plating and a built-in arsenal.
Militech names its vehicles and robots after creatures from myth. A hellhound is a demonic dog that guards the underworld.
Notes
- Autofixer Discount shards stack, but one purchase spends every shard V holds, so it pays to save a large stack for one expensive car.
- The Hellhound is the most expensive vehicle on the Autofixer.
- Concept art from the vehicle team shows NCPD and MaxTac variants of the Hellhound.
