The Ash of War: Stormcaller is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Quality affinity and the Stormcaller skill. It can be picked up early in a run.
Stormcaller spins the armament around the body to whip up storm winds, striking everything nearby with both the weapon and small tornadoes. Repeated inputs add up to two more spinning follow-ups, the last of which knocks enemies back. The full combo deals heavy stance damage and staggers most regular enemies such as knights, and weak hyper armor carries through the spins. It suits Quality builds that want strong crowd control on swords, axes, hammers and polearms.
Stats
It grants the Quality affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Keen, Heavy, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 9 FP. How to Get Ash of War: Stormcaller Guide
- Dropped by a Teardrop Scarab in the northern part of Stormveil Castle, past the courtyard and close to the Secluded Cell Site of Grace.
- Once obtained, it can be duplicated by trading Lost Ashes of War to Smithing Master Hewg at the Roundtable Hold.

Skill
The first spin alone is a cheap way to clear space, while the follow-ups are best committed when the first spin lands on a group or a staggered target. The skill cannot be parried. Since the tornadoes hit around the wielder, it is especially strong when surrounded.
