Rykard's Rancor is a Magma sorcery in Elden Ring. It can be picked up early in a run.
Rykard's Rancor is the terrible power of Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, whose spirits manifest from the rancor of heroes devoured by the great serpent and made the lord's kin. It summons a searing spirit skull that homes in on foes and leaves a trail of delayed fire explosions behind it, and it can be cast while moving. It deals fire damage, giving intelligence casters with a little Faith an option outside magic, and it resets frostbite buildup so frost builds can proc it again. It excels against enemies with large hitboxes such as Erdtree Avatars and works as an area-denial tool in PvP, and the Gelmir Glintstone Staff boosts it. Sir Gideon Ofnir uses it after Rykard falls, and it suits magma sorcery builds that want a strong homing fire spell.
Effect
