Shagrol's Warhammer is taken from the giant in Giant's Grove during The Cursed Tribe. Malacath turns it into Volendrung once it rests on his shrine.

Help the Orcs of Largashbur fight off a giant.
Bring troll fat and a daedra heart to Atub.
Meet Chief Yamarz at Fallowstone Cave.
Protect Yamarz on the way to Giant's Grove.
Defeat the giant and take Shagrol's Warhammer.
Place the hammer on the shrine in Largashbur.

Upgrades

Shagrol's Warhammer is improved at a grindstone with one Orichalcum Ingot per improvement. The Orcish Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
