Valdr's Lucky Dagger is a unique steel dagger with a 25% chance of a critical hit. It deals 5 base damage, like a normal Steel Dagger. Valdr gives it as thanks for clearing the spriggans out of Moss Mother Cavern.
Weapon Enchantment
Each strike has a 25% chance to land a critical hit, which adds 5 points of damage. The effect is built into the blade rather than a true enchantment, so it has unlimited charge.

Valdr's Lucky Dagger map location:
Valdr gives his Lucky Dagger as thanks for clearing Moss Mother Cavern. He waits, wounded, just outside the cave.
- Travel to Moss Mother Cavern.
- Speak to the wounded Valdr outside the entrance.
- Heal Valdr, or give him something to heal himself.
- Clear the spriggans out of the cavern.
- Return to Valdr for the dagger.

Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a grindstone with a Steel Ingot. The Steel Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- The Elemental Fury shout works on it, because the blade counts as unenchanted.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Valdr's Lucky Dagger is not a leveled weapon.
