The Kahvozein's Fang is a unique version of the Dragon Priest Dagger. This is the only weapon in Skyrim that can harvest Dragon Heartscales from Dragons due to its hooked blade design. The normal varient is wielded by Dragon Priests and their followers.
Weapon Enchantment
Kahvozein's Fangs enchantment allowes you to harvest dragon heartscales from dragons, you cannot apply any more enchantments to the weapon in addition to this.

How to Get Guide
Where to get the Kahvozein's Fang Location
Since Kahvozein's Fang is a quest item you must start the Alteration Ritual Spell Quest.
- You can start this quest by speaking to Tolfdir in the College of WInterhold once you have reached level 90 Alternation Skill. While this sounds like a very high level the Alteration skill can be leveled up fast.
- Tolfdir will give you a random radient location where you can obtain the unique Kahvozein's Fang weapon. He will ask you to collect dragon heartscales for him. Kahvozein's Fang is the only weapon that can harvest them from the body of a dragon.
Trivia
- If you do not compelete Tolfdir's Alteration Ritual Spell Quest you will not be able to drop Kahvozein's Fang and the dagger will be weightless until the quest is completed.
- Kahvozein's Fang must be wielded in the right hand in order to collect heartscales. Once collected a notification will appear saying that heartscales have been added to the players inventory.
- The Kahvozein's Fang dagger can be kept and used to get more dragon heartscales after completing the quest. The heartscales serve no purpose but can be sold for 250 gold each.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Kahvozein's Fang is not a leveled weapon.
