The Hanging brazier is the Lighting menu's answer to a hall too tall for lamps on the ground. It hangs on its chain from a rafter or the underside of a floor, and for bronze, coal and a single chain it gives you a fire that burns overhead and leaves the floor clear for benches and tables.

How to Build It

It costs five Bronze, two Coal and one Chain, and unlike most lights it needs a Forge in range rather than a Workbench. It fixes to the underside of a ceiling or beam instead of standing on the floor. It burns coal as fuel, so keep a little in the chest below it. Like every open flame it goes out if rain can reach it, so get a roof over the spot before you light it.
