Everything has to be boiled in a Mead Ketill before it can go into a Fermenter, and Mead Base: Minor Eitr is that first step, thick with Sap and mushrooms carried back from the Mistlands.
How to Make It
Build the mead ketill at a Forge from tin, copper and Leather Scraps, and stand it over a fire. Then combine ten Honey, five Sap, two Jotun Puffs and five Magecap. You draw Sap from exposed Yggdrasil roots with a Sap Extractor, and the two mushrooms are picked off the Mistlands floor and rock faces. The base is fermenter input, not a drink: swallowing it does nothing, and it only becomes useful after its two day ferment.
