The Mead Ketill is where you mix mead bases, on a bench of its own in the Crafting Stations tab rather than in the Cauldron with everything else. It is a squat pot beaten from Tin and Copper, and every base mixed in it still has to go into a Fermenter before you can drink it.
How to Build It
It costs four Tin, six Copper and two Leather Scraps. Like the cauldron it counts as metalwork rather than carpentry, so a Forge has to stand nearby when you place it; a Workbench will not do. It also does nothing on its own. A flame has to burn directly underneath it, from a Campfire or a Hearth, so lay the fire first and set the ketill over it.

| Tin | 4x | Black Forest | Smelter | |
| Copper | 6x | Black Forest | Smelter, Dvergr metal wall | |
| Leather scraps | 2x | Meadows | Boar, Bat, Muddy scrap piles |
