Scrap Bronze is the one bronze in the game you do not alloy yourself. You prise it off the spike walls of the Charred Fortresses in the Ashlands and smelt it straight back into bars.
What It Is For
| Used In | Amount | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 1 | Smelter |
How to Get It
Ashlands fortresses are ringed with defensive bronze spikes, and breaking them drops the scrap. Any tool tier will do for the spikes themselves. The garrison is the real cost: a fortress is held by Charred Warriors and mages, and it sits beyond a sea crossing that punishes a weak ship. Like other raw metal it will not go through an ordinary portal, so it sails home with you and goes into a Smelter with coal.
Notes
- Like other metals, it can only be teleported through a Portal Stone.
- It uses the same sprite as Copper Scrap.
- It is the only way to get Bronze from the Smelter. Otherwise Bronze is crafted at a Forge.
- Smelting it into Bronze burns Coal. The Smelter uses one coal every 15 seconds and takes 30 seconds a bar, so every bar costs two coal. It holds 20 coal and 10 ore at a time, and it stops if the smoke above it has nowhere to go.
