The Rayfield Caliburn "Murkmobile" is an all-black Caliburn left behind by a would-be vigilante. It has the same engine and speed as the standard Caliburn, the fastest car V can drive. The difference is that this one costs nothing. Players who finish the Badlands story and build up their Street Cred can claim a hypercar for free. It hides in a dark mine tunnel, waiting in a shipping container. The Murkmobile is a free reward from the hidden job Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever, after the main job Ghost Town and Street Cred level 40.
Performance
The Murkmobile is a Caliburn in every way that matters on the road. It has all-wheel drive and 1,660 horsepower. No other car V can drive reaches its top speed. Its unique black body and wheels set it apart from the Caliburn sold on the Autofixer netpage.
Vehicle perks make the most of a fast car. Road Warrior from the Cool tree lets a Sandevistan slow time while driving. It also adds weapon damage while the car drifts or is airborne. Stuntjock from the Reflexes tree removes the bullet spread penalty for shooting while driving. Gearhead from the Technical Ability tree adds vehicle health.

Lore
The car belonged to a man who called himself Murk Man. His parents were murdered, and he swore to fight the darkness of Night City from within the darkness. He set up a hideout in the mine tunnels of the Badlands, the same tunnels from the main job Ghost Town.
Murk Man is gone by the time V arrives. His shard and his notes are still there, full of manifestos about justice in Night City. The journal entry mocks how unhinged the plan was. It also admits that the man had excellent taste in cars. With Murk Man gone, the Caliburn is V's to take.
Notes
- The same spot holds the shard "Read this every day. Never give up. Remember your purpose." and a Thermoactive tear-resistant techie shirt.
- The Caliburn "Mordred" is another free Caliburn variant, given as the reward for the side job Freedom.
