Perks Relic Perks

Relic is the sixth tree, and it is not raised with attribute points. Its perks are bought with Relic points earned through Phantom Liberty, and they change abilities rather than numbers. Most of them rebuild what V's arm cyberware can do, and the two largest ones hand V a way of seeing enemies that no other tree offers. It is a tree of unlocks rather than bonuses.

Relic Points

Relic points come from the expansion's own progression rather than from levelling, which means the tree is paced separately from everything else. The points are scarce, and the perks cost different amounts, so the order they are bought in matters more here than in any attribute tree.

The cheaper perks each refine one specific thing, usually one arm implant. The expensive ones are the gates and the two large abilities, and a build that spends everything on the small perks first will find that most of them do nothing until a gate is open.

Abilities

Jailbreak is the gate for the arm cyberware line. It gives Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, the Projectile Launch System and the Monowire a new ability each, and four smaller perks then extend whichever of those V actually wears.

Vulnerability Analytics is the other large perk. It makes weak points visible in enemy armour and cyberware, turns a hit on one into a guaranteed critical with added armour penetration, and makes a broken vulnerability explode as an EMP blast. Machine Learning reads the same vulnerabilities and makes new ones appear more often while raising the critical damage against them.

Emergency Cloaking and Sensory Protocol are the tree's escapes. One lets optical camo break an enemy's track in the middle of a fight, the other slows time when V is detected while crouched and allows a clean exit from combat.

Notes

The arm perks only matter to a build that wears the matching implant, and only one arm implant can be worn at a time, so most of that line is bought for one arm and ignored for the rest. Vulnerability Analytics and Machine Learning are the exceptions, since they apply to every weapon V carries.

Johnny Silverhand's presence in V's head is the Relic itself, which is why this tree sits apart from the attributes and why it unlocks abilities rather than raising stats.

All Relic Perks

Every relic perk in the game is listed below.
