Send in the Clowns is a side job in which V works as the getaway driver for Ozob Bozo, a merc from Brazil with a live grenade where his nose used to be. Some time after Transmission, Ozob texts V about a gig, saying he got V's number from a friend. He needs a ride from Japantown to Little China, and he is picking up "takeout".
Story
Ozob
Johnny muses about the name in the journal. Ozob. For some reason, the sound of it gets creepy circus music stuck in his head. Maybe the man was an acrobat, or a lion tamer. In this city, one never knows, and there is no knowing until V calls him.
On the phone, Ozob asks V to pick him up at the Cherry Blossom Market in Japantown. V parks at the entrance, honks, and waits. Ozob climbs in and asks to be driven to Urmland Street in Little China, Watson.
The Takeout
On arrival, Ozob tells V to wait and keep the engine running. He steps out to fetch his takeout from a Chinese restaurant next to Misty's Esoterica. Moments later, an explosion goes off inside the restaurant, and Ozob storms back out with a crowd of Tyger Claws on his tail.
