Ozob's Nose is an Iconic grenade named after the live grenade Ozob Bozo wears in place of a nose. It hits enemies with an explosive blast and shrapnel, much like a frag grenade. V earns its crafting spec by helping Ozob in a short job. The grenade suits any build that likes heavy explosive damage. Its spec makes the grenade at Tier 5, so it stays useful late into the game. Ozob's Nose comes early in the game, from the job Send in the Clowns after the main job Transmission.

Effect

Ozob's Nose deals Physical damage in an explosive blast. The blast and its shrapnel hit every enemy inside the radius. It works like a frag grenade in play. A group behind cover or a squad in a doorway takes the whole blast.

The grenade is always crafted at Tier 5, the highest tier. It explodes a short moment after it lands, like a regular grenade.

How to Get Ozob's Nose Guide

Finish the main job Transmission.
Answer the message from Ozob Bozo and complete Send in the Clowns.
Receive the crafting spec for Ozob's Nose as the reward.
Craft the grenade from the crafting menu.

Ozob's Nose Map Location and Quest Guide

Finish the main job Transmission and wait for a message from Ozob Bozo, which starts Send in the Clowns.
Call Ozob and accept the job.
Drive to the marked market in Japantown and park at the indicated spot.
Honk the horn and wait for Ozob to get in the car.
Talk to Ozob, then drive him to the marked spot in Little China.
Wait in the car while Ozob goes inside.
Step out and defeat the Tyger Claws who chase him out.
Talk to Ozob to collect the payment and the crafting spec for Ozob's Nose.
Open the crafting menu and craft the grenade.

Crafting Spec

The Ozob's Nose spec is the reward for completing the side job Send in the Clowns in Japantown. The spec lets V craft Ozob's Nose in the crafting menu. Every spec in the game is listed on the Crafting Specs page.

Upgrades

Ozob's Nose is an Iconic grenade with one crafting spec. The spec makes the grenade at Tier 5. Crafting each copy needs Tier 5 crafting components.

Character Builds

Grenades sit in the gadget slot, and each grenade has charges that refill over time. Health Freak raises the recharge speed of grenades and Health Items. Coming In Hot speeds up grenade recharge when no grenade is left. Demolitions Surplus adds one more grenade charge. It also makes grenades refill much faster outside combat. Glutton For War gives a small instant recharge after V neutralizes an enemy.

Pyromania raises the explosion radius of grenades at one level. At another level it gives a short boost to movement speed and explosion damage after V hits an enemy with an explosion. Burn This City uses five stacks of Pyromania to refill a grenade charge at once. Friendlier Fire lowers the damage V takes from V's own explosions.

The Cellular Adapter is an Integumentary System implant that raises grenade recharge speed for each point of Technical Ability. The Projectile Launch System is an arm implant that fires explosive shots. Pyromania and Burn This City improve both the launcher and grenades.

Lore

The in-game description says the grenade brings new meaning to blowing one's nose.

Ozob Bozo is a mercenary who wears an active grenade where his nose used to be. He hires V as a driver in Send in the Clowns. The job ends in a street fight with the Tyger Claws in Little China. Ozob pays V and hands over the crafting spec for the grenade that carries his name. The story continues in Beat on the Brat: Pacifica, where V faces Ozob in a fist fight. In that fight his nose grenade can go off.
