The Thorton Colby "Vulture" is an armed pickup built on the plain Thorton Colby. It turns a common working truck into a car that can fight. Players who want to shoot from behind the wheel get the most out of it. It is one of the Phantom Liberty cars that stay locked until V has done enough driving work for El Capitan. The Colby "Vulture" unlocks on the Autofixer netpage in Phantom Liberty after V completes enough vehicle contracts for El Capitan.
Performance
The Vulture is a weaponized vehicle. The Autofixer netpage marks such cars with a weapon icon in the corner of the listing.
Armed cars carry machine guns, a missile launcher or both. The machine guns fire straight ahead, so the driver has to point the nose of the car at the target. The weapons reload once their ammo runs out.
Gearhead from the Technical Ability tree is the key perk for an armed car. It adds vehicle health and gives mounted weapons more damage. It also cuts the lock-on time of mounted weapons. Fury Road from the Body tree raises collision damage against enemy vehicles. It also halves the damage V's own car takes in a crash. Road Warrior from the Cool tree adds weapon damage while the car drifts or is airborne.
How to Get Thorton Colby "Vulture" Guide

Lore
Thorton is the maker behind some of Night City's most common working cars, from the cheap Galena to the Colby and the Mackinaw. The Vulture keeps the Colby's simple pickup body and adds mounted guns to it.
Notes
- Vehicle contracts also pay out Autofixer discount shards, and the discounts stack until the next purchase.
