Violence is the side job in which the rock star Lizzy Wizzy hires V to find out whether her manager and boyfriend, Liam Northom, is cheating on her. It starts with a mysterious text some time after Search and Destroy, at the No-Tell Motel in Kabuki, Watson. The trail leads to the Riot nightclub in Little China, and the truth V brings back decides whether the job ends there or takes a darker turn.
Story
The Mysterious Client
Johnny enjoys the mystery. In the journal he says the air around this job is so thick with secrets that he needs a machete to get through it: an unknown number, an anonymous client and a secret meeting in a motel. He wonders what will come next, and what it means for V.
In the motel room, a woman in gleaming chrome waits with her back to the door. She turns out to be Lizzy Wizzy, the famous singer. She suspects that Liam is cheating on her. Because she is so famous, she needs someone discreet to look into it at Riot, a club Liam often visits.
Riot
Riot only opens in the evening. V does not need to find Liam at first, only proof. The bartender on the second floor can be paid or threatened into saying where Liam is: in the VIP lounge on the third floor. The security room holds a computer linked to the club's cameras, and an employee badge on its desk opens the way.
Through the cameras, or by listening at the glass door of the lounge, V hears Liam talking to his companion. The talk shows that the truth is worse than an affair. V can download the security footage as proof, or confront Liam in person.
The Truth
V calls Lizzy and can either say it was an affair, or that it is worse. Calling it an affair ends the job: Lizzy is fairly satisfied and pays V. Telling her it is worse makes her hang up in distress, and if V captured the footage, she calls again a few days later.
The Body
Back at the No-Tell Motel, Liam lies dead on the floor with Lizzy standing over him. She says she only pushed him, not knowing the strength of her chrome arms. Scanning the body shows that she strangled him. After a brief panic about the media, she asks V to get rid of the body. If V refuses, saying something is not right, she tells V that everything is falling into place and sends V away. If V agrees, Lizzy thanks Liam's body for a beautiful gift and leaves V to dispose of it. Some days later, she texts that their "adventure" inspired her new braindance.

Choices
Liam
If V confronts Liam, he demands that V leave, and his guards attack if V lingers. V can also extort him for a large payment in return for silence, and still tell Lizzy the truth afterwards.
What to Tell Lizzy
Saying it was an affair ends the job with a smaller payment. Saying it is worse leads to the second part, as long as V captured the footage. Getting rid of the body for Lizzy earns the full reward.
Rewards
Completing Violence pays €$ 1,900 to 38,500, 588 experience and 882 Street Cred. It also rewards Lizzy Wizzy memorabilia.
The job pays eddies, experience and Street Cred, and adds the Lizzy Wizzy and the Metadwarves poster to the memorabilia in V's apartment.
Tips
If Kerry Eurodyne's job Rebel! Rebel! has started, Lizzy says Liam is out of town, and this job waits until I Don't Wanna Hear It is finished, as both use Riot. In Phantom Liberty, Lizzy can be met at Kurt Hansen's party in You Know My Name. Complimenting her performance there earns V her Iconic weapon, the Amikiri Sound Cutter.
