You Know My Name is the Phantom Liberty main job in which V and Solomon Reed sneak into the Black Sapphire, Kurt Hansen's tower in Dogtown, during one of his lavish parties. The way in runs through flooded tunnels and a sniper nest, and the night ends at a roulette table with two netrunners and Hansen himself. The aim is to reach Songbird and learn what Hansen plans for her.

Story

The Way In

The journal is impressed with V's run of luck. V got Mr. Hands to help and even got Reed to open up. Breaking into the best guarded fortress in Dogtown, and maybe in all of Night City, now seems possible. If V gets Songbird out, Johnny says, V should buy a pile of scratch tickets.

With the plans from Mr. Hands, V enters through flooded tunnels that lead to the tower's maintenance area. Wearing Alex's diving suit, V swims past mines and security systems, then fights through a warehouse and helps Reed slip past the guards by watching the cameras.

The Sniper Nest

To reach V, Reed has to cross a guarded floor and lower a bridge from a control panel. V takes over a mounted sniper rifle and watches over him. V scans the threats, shoots the power to a locked door, and takes out guards and a sniper on the balcony when needed. The whole way across can also be done without shooting a single guard, by distracting them instead. At the end, V keeps the rifle, the Iconic Rasetsu.

The Party

V and Reed take the lift to the top of the tower and change into evening wear. The party is full of the famous and the powerful of Night City: news anchors, talk show hosts, the deputy mayor, the NCPD commissioner, Mr. Hands and the rock star Lizzy Wizzy. Some guests, such as Tyger Claws bosses, only appear if they survived earlier jobs.

At last Songbird gets in touch and meets V. She says that Hansen has the cure V needs, and that she is meant to work on it with two netrunners at the party. Hansen soon whisks her away, and she reconnects with V through the Relic.

The Netrunners

To take part in the coming meeting between Hansen, Songbird and the two netrunners, V will have to pose as one of them. That means scanning their behaviour. The netrunners are Aurore and Aymeric Cassel, twins playing roulette. V buys chips, joins the game and gets them talking until both are fully scanned.

Then Hansen sits down at the table. He knows that V is an agent of the New United States, and he makes his threats plain. V and Reed are thrown out of the party. In the lobby, a soldier recognises them as the intruders from the tunnels, and a long fight with Barghest breaks out. V and Reed escape and shake off their pursuers. The Tunnels

  1. Go to the marked spot, force open the door and talk to Reed.
  2. Put on the diving suit and dive into the flooded tunnels.
  3. Swim down the tunnels and disarm the mines and security systems on the way.
  4. Open the door of the red car and carry on through the pipe.
  5. Surface where the tunnel allows, then dive again and disarm the third mine.
  6. Open the metal shutter to reach a big room. Swim under the panel platform, climb the ladder and use the panel to open a path, then use the second panel to make a new path.
  7. Climb the yellow ladder to the warehouse and defeat the two guards. Her Majesty can kill each with one shot to the head.

The Cameras

  1. Jack into the security computer and connect to the cameras.
  2. Switch cameras to find Reed, then hack the gate to open it for him.
  3. Take the lift to the maintenance area and defeat the guards who arrive.

The Sniper Nest

  1. Take the lift to the meeting point and quietly take out the sniper there.
  2. Get into the sniper nest and find Reed on the other side.
  3. Scan the floor for threats if desired: the mine, the guards, the main lift, the sniper, the bridge and the cameras.
  4. Tell Reed to move. He disarms the mine, or V can turn it friendly with 20 Technical Ability.
  5. Wait for the patrol to move to the lift.
  6. Follow the power cables up from the blocked door to the power supply and shoot it.
  7. Take out the guard on the left while Reed handles the other.
  8. Find the sniper on the balcony by his laser and shoot him.
  9. Use the cameras to reveal the guard Reed spots, then deal with him.
  10. Shoot the two guards who come from the other side. If V misses, the alarm sounds, and V must fight off the guards and three drones.

The Party

  1. Join Reed and take the lift to the top floor.
  2. Grab the outfit from the bag and put on the evening wear.
  3. Go to the party and join Reed at the bar.
  4. Enjoy the party and talk to guests until Songbird makes contact.
  5. Read Songbird's message, approach her and talk to her.
  6. Join Reed at the bar again.
  7. Buy at least €$ 80,000 of casino chips.
  8. Wait for the round to end, then join the roulette game with the netrunners.
  9. Get the twins talking, and scan Aymeric and Aurore.
  10. Get through the confrontation with Hansen.

The Escape

  1. Talk to Alex when she calls in the lift.
  2. Leave the Black Sapphire through the lobby and talk to the soldier.
  3. Fight off the Barghest soldiers and leave the Black Sapphire area.
  4. Lose the tail and talk to Reed.

Choices

The sniper nest can be cleared by force or almost without a shot, by scanning, shooting objects and hacking to distract or knock out guards. The more threats V scans for Reed, the better he can sneak to the exit. At the party, V can mingle with the guests, and Lizzy Wizzy reacts to V according to how her side job Violence ended. The winnings at roulette can be cashed out at the end of the game.

Rewards

Completing You Know My Name rewards Tactical diving suit, Tactical diving suit (broken), Tsunami Rasetsu, Stylish suit, Amikiri Sound Cutter (depending on choices) and Bootleg BD from Lizzy Wizzy's Black Sapphire show.

V keeps Rasetsu, the Iconic sniper rifle used to cover Reed, after the sniper nest. Winnings from roulette can be cashed out.

Tips

Her Majesty, the pistol from Get It Together, is excellent for the fights in the warehouse and the maintenance area. Bring enough money for the roulette chips, as the game needs at least €$ 80,000.
