The Ash of War: Braggart's Roar is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Heavy affinity and the Braggart's Roar skill. It is a mid-game find.
Braggart's Roar declares the wielder's presence with a boastful roar that buffs the weapon for 60 seconds. It raises physical attack power and damage negation by 10% and speeds up stamina recovery. While two-handing, heavy and charged attacks change into new moves, with a heavy overhead smash and a follow-up for most weapon classes. It suits Strength builds that two-hand large weapons and want both offense and defense from one buff.

Skill
Cast it before a fight, since the roar takes roughly twice as long as War Cry or Barbaric Roar. The buff counts as a weapon buff and is lost when switching weapons, and it overwrites greases and armament-buffing spells. Bigger weapons gain the most from the altered heavy attacks, which are slow and easy to read in PvP.
