The Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Keen affinity and the Raptor of the Mists skill. It is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, around the middle of a run.
Raptor of the Mists ducks into a low stance, momentarily vanishing; if an enemy attack connects during the window, the wielder disappears in a flurry of black feathers and reappears in the air. FP is spent only when the dodge triggers, so the stance can be used repeatedly at no cost until something hits. A light attack while airborne becomes a jump attack, turning a successful dodge into a heavy punish. It suits patient players who like counter-based play on any melee weapon.

How to Get Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists Guide
- Received automatically after helping Bloody Finger Hunter Yura defeat the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin in Liurnia of the Lakes.
- After talking to Yura following the defeat of Bloody Finger Nerijus, a red summon sign appears near the edge of the broken bridge north of the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace.
- Once obtained, it can be duplicated by trading Lost Ashes of War to Smithing Master Hewg at the Roundtable Hold.

Skill
The stance has to be timed just before an enemy blow lands; if nothing hits, the wielder is briefly vulnerable while standing back up. The dodge avoids damage but not status buildup, and grab attacks still connect. Pairing the aerial jump attack with jump attack boosters makes every successful dodge a strong counter.
