The Spread Crossbow is a Crossbow in Elden Ring. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

The Spread Crossbow is a modified crossbow made by combining two crossbows into one, able to load multiple bolts and fire them at once in a spread. It lies on a corpse in a small camp of Messmer Soldiers by the riverside southwest of Castle Ensis, reached from the Castle Front grace. Its wide volley is built for dealing with groups of enemies. Each shot burns through a large number of bolts, so ammunition runs out quickly in long fights. It suits any build that wants close-range crowd damage from the off-hand.

Skill

Kick costs 0 FP. The wielder plants a high front kick that pushes the enemy back and deals enormous stamina damage to anyone guarding, breaking the guard of nearly any shield. The kick itself deals little damage and costs no FP. The Divine Bird Warrior Greaves boost it.

Suggested Build

Fire the spread into groups at close range, keeping an eye on bolt count.

Stats	Strength 11 and Dexterity 17 to wield it; crossbows have no scaling, so further points go elsewhere
