The Full Moon Crossbow is a Crossbow in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Academy of Raya Lucaria, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

The only split-damage crossbow: 50 physical + 50 magic at +0, 175 + 175 at max. Requires 14 Int, which is the only stat gate in the class. Split attack rating (AR) is generally worse into physical-weak targets, but it is the crossbow that lets an Int build deal its own damage type. Chest atop a bell tower in Raya Lucaria.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

It scales with nothing, so the Str 10, Dex 10 and Int 14 it asks for is all the investment it wants. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also power increase when using Magic bolts on its own, with no infusion needed.
