The Swarm of Flies is a Blood incantation in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find.
Swarm of Flies is a Blood Oath incantation shared from the Lord of Blood's power, its bloodflies said to spawn from the festering blood swamp around his new palace. It releases a slow, tracking swarm of bloodflies that bursts on impact into a lingering cloud, dealing physical damage over several hits and building blood loss, and it can be cast while moving or crouching. In PvP it works as a zoning tool, forcing opponents to run away or toward the caster, which opens time for long wind-up spells such as dragon breaths. It also resets frostbite and can set certain enemies on fire, and it pairs with Swarm Pots and Roped Fly Pots for extra pressure. It suits blood oath builds and PvP casters who like controlling space.
