The Poison Mist is an incantation in Elden Ring, from the Servants of Rot school. Players can grab it early, in the Weeping Peninsula.
Poison Mist is an incantation of the servants of rot, who know that rot is the death that begets life and comes to all equally, the cycle of rebirth put into practice. It releases a short-range cloud of poison in front of the caster that builds poison in anything inside, and it can be cast while moving. The mist does not alert enemies, so stationary foes that are not immune to poison can be poisoned repeatedly from behind until they fall, a trick that works on several overworld bosses such as Tree Sentinels and Erdtree Avatars. Like other mist spells it works best where a target cannot easily walk out of the cloud. It suits stealthy players and low-Faith characters looking for a patient way to wear down tough enemies.
Effect
Releases a short-range cloud of poison in front of the caster that builds poison in anything inside it. Each cast costs 18 FP and 10 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Poison Mist Guide
Dropped by a scarab in the forest southeast of the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace on the Weeping Peninsula, north of a small poison swamp.
