The Hollow Reaper is a Hollow enemy in Enshrouded, found in the Nomad Highlands, the Kindlewastes, the Albaneve Summits and the Veilwater Basin. An Elite Hollow skeleton bearing a scythe. Found inside Hollow Halls and other areas where Hollow can be found. It can attack with two fairly stationary slashes for moderate damage, or a leaping slash for high damage. It is weak to blunt damage.
Where to Find the Hollow Reaper
Hollow Reapers are rare outside dungeons. Most of them guard the Hollow Halls, from the Springlands Halls to the Kindlewastes Halls, where they lead packs of lesser Hollow. A few stand in the open world of the Nomad Highlands, the Kindlewastes, the Albaneve Summits and the Veilwater Basin. Those are found near hidden temples, Sun Temples, Flame Shrines and the Balefire stronghold at Lance Point. Some also rise from the bone piles that keep raising Hollow.

How to Fight the Hollow Reaper
The Hollow Reaper swings its scythe in two slashes while standing almost still. Those slashes deal moderate damage and are easy to step away from. Its leaping slash is the real danger, because it covers ground fast and hits hard. Dodging the leap and striking during its recovery is the safest pattern. Blunt weapons deal half again as much damage to it, while poison and Shroud only do half. In a pack, it should fall early, together with any Hollow Mages.

Lore
The Hollow Reaper is an elite Hollow skeleton that carries a great scythe. It belongs to the Hollow, the underclass that the Flame cursed and cast out. The Hollow were banished to the Hollow Halls, vast crypts of unknown origin. The curse binds them to walk Embervale in undeath forever. The Reaper is far stronger than the common skeletons that fight around it.
Notes
Hollow Reapers carry gems that few other enemies drop. Each Hollow Halls has its own Reaper gem: Skulls in the Springlands, Fracturing in Revelwood, Lesser Necromancy in the Nomad Highlands and Soul Reaping in the Kindlewastes. Reapers out in the open world drop other gems, such as Swiftness, Overpowering, Bloodlust and Meteoric Impact. A gem sits in a weapon's gem slot and adds a special effect to it. Clearing every Reaper in a dungeon is the surest way to collect them.
