Corundum Ingot

Corundum Ingot

Type	Ingot
Smelted From	Corundum Ore
Base Value	40
Perk	Advanced Armors
Station	Smelter

Corundum Ingot is a smithing material in Skyrim, made at a smelter. Two Corundum Ore smelt into one ingot.

Uses

Scaled and Steel Plate armour are built from it, and both sit at the point where the light and heavy trees start to diverge.

Tempering consumes one ingot per item improved, so keeping a stock matters as much as having enough to forge with in the first place. Smelting grants no Smithing experience; only forging and tempering do.
