Scaled Armor
Scaled Armor is the light armor cuirass of the Scaled set. It has a base armor rating of 32 and weighs 6. The Advanced Armors perk lets any forge make it, and bandits often wear it.
Armor Enchantment
Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Scaled Armor at an arcane enchanter.

Scaled Armor Location
Blacksmiths sell it, and copies turn up in random loot. Bandits often wear it.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Corundum Ingot. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
- A full Scaled set totals 64 base armor, the same as Elven Gilded Armor worn with the other Elven pieces.
- Wearing all four Scaled pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.

Upgrades
A Scaled Armor is improved at a workbench with one Corundum Ingot per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
