Trousers of Embla are cut from the hide of the Asksvin that roam the Ashlands, and they push eitr regeneration past anything the Mistlands offered a spellcaster. They give 19 armour, or 25 fully upgraded, which ranks 6th for armour among leg pieces. Worn with the rest of the Embla Set, they are part of a 57 armour rating, which turns a 100-damage hit into 44.

How to Craft

Made at a level 2 Galdr Table from:

Name Image Biome Crafting Station Spawn ID
Linen Thread Linen Thread Plains Spinning Wheel spawn LinenThread
Refined Eitr Refined Eitr Mistlands Eitr Refinery spawn Eitr
Asksvin Hide Asksvin Hide Ashlands - spawn AskHide

When to Use It

Late game. Asksvin Hide drops from Asksvin in the Ashlands, the furthest south the map goes.

Upgrades

You can upgrade it 3 times after crafting, and each level needs the station built one step higher than the last. Every other figure on this page is for quality 1, so your own copy sits somewhere on this ladder:

Quality Crafting Station Armor Durability Resources
1 Galdr table (Level 2) 19 1000
2 Galdr table (Level 3) 21 1200
3 Galdr table (Level 4) 23 1400
4 Galdr table (Level 5) 25 1600

Properties

  • +50% Eitr regen
  • -2% Movement speed
  • Movement -2%. This is what wearing it costs you in speed, and in the cost of a dodge roll.

Notes

  • The movement speed penalties of chest and leg armor add up, so a full heavy set is 10% slower.
  • Armor reduces physical, fire, frost and lightning damage, but it does nothing against poison or spirit damage.
  • Every craftable armor piece gains 2 armor with each upgrade.
