The Quadra Sport R-7 "Charon" is a rental sports car that V steals out of a BARGHEST garage in Dogtown. It belongs to Charon Exotics, the company that rented a car to the Cassel twins. A netrunner called Ashlay needs its memory wiped and lets V keep the car as payment. Getting it means a quiet stealth run under the EBM Petrochem Stadium. It is a reward for players who explore the side content of Phantom Liberty. The Sport R-7 "Charon" is a free Phantom Liberty car from the side job Moving Heat, which Ashlay offers by text later in the expansion.
Performance
Perks shape how the Charon copes with trouble. Road Warrior from the Cool tree adds weapon damage while the car drifts or is airborne. Stuntjock from the Reflexes tree removes the bullet spread penalty for shooting while driving. Gearhead from the Technical Ability tree adds vehicle health. Fury Road from the Body tree raises collision damage against enemy vehicles.

- Reply to Ashlay to start the side job Moving Heat.
- Sneak into the garage under the EBM Petrochem Stadium in Dogtown.

Lore
The Charon is a Quadra Sport R-7 from the fleet of Charon Exotics, a car rental company. The Cassel twins used a car from the same company during their time in Night City.
Ashlay is a netrunner who works for Charon Exotics. Data stored in the car could cost him his job. He asks V to slip into the garage under the stadium and wipe the car's memory. In return, V gets to keep the car.
Notes
- The job lists staying unseen as an optional goal, and V keeps the car either way.
