The Giant-Crusher is a hammer made from a boulder for the War against the Giants and is described as one of the heftiest weapons in the Lands Between. It sits in a carriage chest in a barricaded camp south of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree grace on the Altus Plateau, where an Ulcerated Tree Spirit appears. Its unique heavy attack uses the weight of the head to roll into a forward somersault that covers a large distance, and a charged version flattens smaller enemies. It deals Strike damage with very high poise damage and boasts high guarded damage negation and guard boost. It suits a pure Strength build that can carry its heavy weight.

Endure costs 9 FP. The wielder braces in an anchored stance that for three seconds raises damage negation by 45 percent and greatly boosts poise, so most attacks fail to stagger. Some light one-handed attacks even bounce off, though headshots and launching attacks can still interrupt the wielder. Heavy weapons take noticeably longer to enter the stance. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.
